I cant believe tomorrow is already the Fourth of July!!! Do you guys love the fourth as much as we do?!! Every year we head up to Bemidji, MN to spend time at the lake with family and friends!! My husbands family has a pretty awesome tradition every Fourth of July, that includes a POKER run! For those of you who don’t know what a poker run is, its a fun little event where you head to various locations (on the lake) to pick up a cards. The family tries to spread it out across the lake and each host provides different snacks, drinks or fun little apps. At the end of the poker run you will head up and have all 5 of your cards opened up (typically by someone who has been appointed to make sure your being honest and fair!) to see if you have the best hand!! As for the winner, there’s always a fun little prize at the end $$$$$!!! Its something we look forward to every year and I can’t wait to get some photos and share with you all!!!

Most of you probably already own a few great pieces in your closet that can be used to celebrate the festivies this weekend and for tomorrow!!! So lets start with some of the basic pieces!!! I am sure by now with the latest trend of overalls you’ve found yourself a cute and affordable pair, a chambray button down, a killer one piece because heaven knows they been killing the game lately!! A striped top and some type of little red dress or white. Even if you don’t have any of these pieces in your closet there are so many fun and affordable pieces out there right now!!
