Getting motivated during the winter months can be rough, while the days are shorter and the temps are below freezing! It’s no wonder why so many people seem to fall into a slump during the winter months. I know I have! Really who hasn’t? Not only are the temps freezing, but the holidays tend to take over in full command. Holiday parties, the shopping, the baking and cooking. November and December seem to fly by quickly with all the different things people have going on. And if you live in the Midwest (Minnesota, North Dakota) you know winter doesn’t quite end after Christmas and tends to hang around until March. (GASP)!!!
The long drooling month can make a person go stir crazy! So staying motivated during the winter can be tough but its extremely important! Thanks to Orangetheory Fitness I beat the winter blues and still am!!! #holidayproof

So why Orangetheory?? What about it is keeping you motivated during the winter, when the rest of just want to lay on our couches wrapped in a blanket? (Don’t get me wrong I’ve had my days where all I want to do is watch movies with a soft blanket)
You’ve heard me say it before but the workout are more than just amazing and I find myself getting excited to head to OTF to see what the coach has in-store for us that day! Every day is a completely different; so you are never doing the same work through the week. The change up is great and for me I can’t dread having to row 500 meters if I don’t know what we are doing the next day. The unknown is exciting and keeps me wanting to come back for more!
Orangetheory is like no other fitness group I have ever been apart of before, its a community of badass people who are looking to better themselves. Better yet the dedication this group of people have is beyond amazing. The people and coaches care about you and want you to succeed, they hold you accountable which is something again no other fitness group or gym really offers. Its become the latest and hottest trend across the country; setting it apart from anything else out there.
